More Information

A run-through of the day

As we make our way out we will be fine tuning your unit. Giving you a full run through and showing you the different types of bottoms, structure and how to locate certain species. Depending on the species we are targeting on the day, we will get out chase some bait first and then start the hunt. We will go through all the rigging and the 1%ers that lead to being consistent on these species. Everything fishing is never 100% strike rate but it’s all these things that you learn, for when I’m not there. That you can implement yourself.

Key items we cover

  • Anchoring correctly
  • Bait presentation
  • How to catch your own bait (depending on species)
  • Rigging (hooks, leader etc.)
  • Making the most of your bait (different cuts)
  • How to target certain species
  • How to fish the correct way on your vessel
  • Adapting to the conditions (depending on the day)
  • Using your sounder to find the right structure

NB: Available from Werribee (VIC) to Corinella (VIC) outside of that will be additional costs.
